Are you a high school senior in Denver who shares a deep love for your dog? If so, I might just be the perfect photographer for your senior pictures! My specialty is capturing the unique connection between people and their dogs.
Why I Focus on People and Their Dogs
Over ten years ago, when I first started my photography journey, I explored many different types of sessions—babies, families, weddings, and, of course, high school seniors. But it was the sessions where clients brought along their beloved dogs that truly stood out. The joy and spontaneity that dogs bring to a photoshoot inspired me to focus on this special niche.
No Dog for your Senior Photo Session?
No Problem!
While I love photographing dogs with their humans, you don’t need to include a dog in your senior session to work with me. In fact, more than half of my senior sessions don’t have dogs! Many high schools have guidelines on what’s allowed in yearbook photos, and sometimes, dogs aren’t permitted for your yearbook picture (sad, but true). So, even if you’re a dog lover, we’ll still create a variety of images of just you to showcase your personality.
Planning Your Senior Photos
Denver offers a wide range of location options for your session. Whether you’re drawn to the natural beauty of the outdoors or prefer an urban backdrop, we’ll find the perfect setting. If you need suggestions, I’m happy to discuss popular spots around the city.
Consider bringing along items that reflect your interests—whether it’s your team’s sports uniform, ballet slippers, or other things that are just ‘you’. These personal touches make your photos uniquely yours.
Poses and Outfit Tips
We’ll capture a mix of classic poses—standing, sitting, kneeling, and more. If you have specific ideas, feel free to bring inspiration photos on your phone. I recommend bringing at least two outfits for variety in your proof gallery.

A Simple Process for Stunning Senior Photos
My process is straightforward and stress-free. We’ll start with a quick call to discuss what’s most important to you for your session, then we’ll schedule your shoot. A few days after the session, you’ll receive a proof gallery to help you choose your favorites. We’ll then have a Zoom call where I can answer any questions and guide you through the ordering process. You’ll have a variety of artwork options to choose from—Story Books (albums), Wall Art, Small Fine Gift Art Prints, Digitals (JPGs), and more—so you can customize your order to get exactly what you want.
Pricing is simple and transparent, the same as my standard sessions for people and their dogs. You can find all the details here.
