We got an unexpected terminal cancer diagnosis for my daughter's sweet and precious beagle, Daisy.

Amanda was gentle and respectful and took time to set the tone for the session. Daisy was responsive to her and was having such a good day! Amanda captured pictures of her running and smiling.

The beautiful and soulful photos of my daughter and her best friend are indescribable. Our Daisy days came to an end a few weeks after our photo session and for awhile it was unbearable to look at those images.

Can my dog stay on a leash? +

Yes! Most of the dogs in my portfolio galleries were on leashes. My professional editing skills allow me to remove distractions—like leashes or background clutter—where it makes sense.

What if the weather isn't cooperating? +

If the weather isn’t cooperating, we can absolutely reschedule. Often we’ll decide a few hours before your session if conditions aren’t ideal. Your session fee simply transfers to the new date.

Does my dog need to know commands like “sit” or “stay”? +

No commands needed! Dogs simply exploring, playing, and spending time with you make for the most genuine portraits. Your dog can just be a dog.

How quickly can we do a session? +

Time can be critical sometimes. I can usually fit in a session within a few days if needed. If your situation is time-sensitive, call or text me—my cell number is on the Contact page.

Can harnesses or gentle leaders be edited out? +

Bulky harnesses can hide a lot of your dog’s chest, which makes it difficult to rebuild during editing. Gentle leaders may leave shadows or pull on the skin, so they’re also tricky to remove. If your dog typically wears one for walks, that’s fine—just bring a flat collar to use during the session.

What if my dog is reactive? +

We’ll choose a location that fits your dog’s comfort level. I have several quiet, out-of-the-way spots with very few dogs or people around. Scheduling on a weekday is another great option to minimize distractions.

Are gift certificates available? +

Yes! Gift certificates make a beautiful, thoughtful present for any dog lover. You can purchase one for any amount or a full session package. Just reach out through my Contact page to set it up.

What should I wear? +

You’ll receive a full session guide after booking, with wardrobe tips and real examples to help you plan. The goal is to feel comfortable, confident, and like yourself while complementing your dog’s colors and the setting.
